Detailed description of Lakesite Country Club
Lakesite Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Maysville, Missouri.
The Lakesite Country Club golf course opened for play in 1970.
Some of this course's fairways are tree lined, but all of them are bordered by a standard cut of rough. The undulating greens vary in size and are fast. There are no sand bunkers on the course, but water hazards do come into play on two holes and dry ditches come into play on two other holes. The overall terrain is predominantly gently rolling, but there are a couple of larger hills that can affect your lies.
Blue tees: par-35, 2,857 yards
White tees: par-35, 2,744 yards
Red tees: par-38, 2,524 yards
$10 (cart not included), played on Tuesday, September 2007 at 4pm
Maysville's course starts out with a difficult hole with a ditch running through the middle of the fairway. If you can carry the ditch on your tee shot it plays up hill the rest of the way. The par 5 number 1 can quickly turn your good round into a bad hole. The remainder of the course plays a lot shorter and easier.

This course was far better than I had imagined it to be for its rural location, I will definitely play it again numerous times. The thing that really distinguished it apart from other local courses was that the green's were immaculate, kudo's to the greens keeper!
